The year, is 3076,
Humanity flourished in the past century with the creation of supercomputers.
Their greatest accomplishment, A complete neutron star reactor, which feeds on the pulsing power of two neutron stars.
However, in their pursuit for more energy, they pushed the stars too close together, overclocking the reactor, and they are now threatening the existence of the entire universe.
Alien races however have felt this disturbance, and turned their weapons against humans, to stop this universe-ending cataclysm.
It is your mission, Hal, as the leader of the Nova configuration, to prove your commanders wrong, and peacefully resolve the conflict, or to disobey them, becoming a bloodthirsty killer who doesn't need a squad to take down an entire fleet.

Every enemy has a specific weakness, try to find it!
Space shoot em up, combining the best of classic games, such as R-type, chicken invaders, but using the upgrade system from the similar indie title Nova Drift.
Currently, the game is uploaded as a very raw prototype, encapsulating none of the combinations of weapons, sprites, or fancy UI elements, due to time restraints.
If people consider a space-themed Enter the Gungeon, I will look for an actual artist and sound designer, as the project is greatly expandable
A complete project would include a weapon wheel, allowing you to mix and match your favorite weapons, coin pickups that grant not only points, but special upgrades to combinations of weapons, such as adding seeking properties to projectiles. It would include an overworld with side levels that allow adaptable and skilled players to skip levels based on their performance, and a complete narrative that Defines the fate of the entire universe, in the battle between the space peacekeeper animals and the greedy humans.
If i manage to gather enough support for this project, it will also include multiple endings, depending on the players choices to interact, help, and play with the different allies. They will have a trust/reputation system, the player requiring to reach pacts between the pilots that do not like each other by completing side quests, rewarded with additional upgrades, specific to every branch.
